During the last years, Cyber Security Analytics has gained increasing awareness both in industry and academia. This is due to a number of factors, including a significant increase in the number and severity of attacks, increasing focus from media, and increasing amounts of legislation such as the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
While much research focuses on either technical, business or compliance perspectives, there is a need to think of these disciplines together and develop solutions across traditional disciplines. Such solutions will be the purpose of this workshop. More specifically, the workshop will look into different phases of potential attacks and understand how these can be prevented, detected and investigated. The workshop welcomes submissions in the following fields (non-exhaustive list), where priority will be given to submissions targeting at least two areas (technical, business, compliance):
Methods for preventing cyber attacks
Methods for detecting cyber attacks
Analysis of identified vulnerabilities
Analysis of successful attacks or attack attempts
Diverse aspects of security analytics
Tools for security analytics
Security analytics data
Machine learning in security analytics
Privacy and security
